BioWave can relieve pain from CRPS or RSD. The terms CRPS and RSD can be used interchangeably.
We have numerous cases of patients with CRPS that have used BioWave and it is helped to reduce their pain levels and improve function. Electrode placement is a little bit more trial and error and it may take several 30-minute treatments of placing electrodes in different locations to capture the pain nerves that may be causing the pain relating to the CRPS condition. It is worth having the customer try BioWave, but they need to know to be patient and to try multiple treatments to identify the best locations to place the pads to receive the best clinical outcomes.
As always both pads need to be placed directly over locations of pain, or one pad over the most painful location and one pad over the source or origin of the pain. Multiple treatments can be performed back-to-back if there are more than two locations of pain to be treated which may be typical in CRPS cases.
