Generally, patients with peripheral neuropathy in the feet say that the entire foot and ankle can throb with a dull aching pain, but still ask the patient, “how and where does your pain present?”, to understand their particular pain condition and potential pad placement suggestions.
Biowave can help treat neuropathic pain in feet. The patient may have to try a few different pad placements around the foot to determine which placement produces the most relief. One option is to place two pads on the top of the foot over the arch area – one pad slightly to the inside of the top of the foot and the other pad one inch away, slightly to the outside of the top of the foot. A second option it to place one pad on the top of the foot and one on the outside of the foot. Make sure there is at least one inch of space between the pads.
